Greene County magistrate court, week ending Aug. 14

In Greene County magistrate court Marcel David Delay of Dana was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge on a charge of reckless use of firearm. Court costs were $114.55.

Marco Daniel Ortiz Navarijo of Perry was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge on a charge of public health violation. Court costs were $60.

Marvin Sarceno of Perry was granted a deferred judgment on a public health violation. He must pay a civil penalty of $65. He will be on informal probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year.

Disposition was entered in two cases against Kathy Louise Arey of Grand Junction on charges of violation of a no contact order. On the earlier case she was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge. On the later case she was sentenced to five days in jail, consecutive, and fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge. Arey must pay sheriff’s fees for the jail time she serves. Court costs were $60 in each case.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Michael Marlin Matthews of Topeka, KS, public intoxication; and Brianne Kara Wolf of Lohrville, theft- fifth degree.
